Qatar German Pipes Co. WLL, manufacture of Polymer Resin Concrete Jacking Pipes (PRCP) in Doha - Qatar. PRCP is ideal pipe for Micro tunneling installations. The pipe has several advantages over other normal pipes. The jacking distance can be upto 500m without any Inter Jacking Station (IJS).

Qatar German Pipes Co WLL, is now ISO 9001: 2008 certified company. QGPC is a local Qatari company in collaboration with ‘Meyer Rohr + Schacht GmbH’ Germany, manufacturing Polymer Resin Concrete Pipes (PRCP) in Doha-Qatar for sewage pipeline through micro-tunnelling technology. 

PRCP consists of materials which are inert and resistant to chemical attack. Also it is cost effective and eco-friendly with a life span of more than 100 years. PRCP can be implemented to the long Distance using Micro tunneling technology (3 times than other Jacking Pipes)

How the company was formed ?

The company was established by virtue of Ministerial decree no. 2121 licensing industrial project issued by the Ministry of Industry and Energy and a Commercial license no. 37683. It is owned 95% by Qatari part and 5% by German part. After establishment QGPC the next step was to choose the company that has the technology. Meyer Rohr + Schacht (MRS) was chosen. MRS is the forerunner in manufacturing polymer concrete jacking pipes globally. An agreement was signed with MRS to use the technology and to supply the equipments and machinery required for the establishment of the factory. The project has acquired the support and financing of the Qatar Development Bank.
